It’s more than half a year since anything has been added to this blog :(

The blog was focused on my (cycling and ‘back-packing’) travels between July 2012 and June 2013.

Since then, I been adapting back to ‘real-life’ which, unfortunately, is fairly unremarkable. In my case, at any rate. Get up, go to work, come home, sleep. Repeat as required. (That is, as required by economic necessity.) Not really any different from the lives of millions of others – not worth writing about. Or reading about.

I do occasionally revisit parts of the blog, mainly making corrections to formatting issues due to my inexpert use of WordPress and various image-related plug-ins. And I do have a couple of posts still to make concerning my last adventures in Ladakh. Will I get round to it before I forget it all? Maybe. There are some photos to work on from that time but new projects (programming JavaScript stuff to help my students visualize engineering problems, continuing my part-time pursuit of a master’s degree, … – all very geeky) seem more compelling.

But there are plans for cycling in Peru in July and August. Then it will be worth applying myself to the blog again. In the meantime, for the most part, it will remain dormant.
